This fragment of charred Alien hive was used in the 1986 Science Fiction Horror Film Directed by James Cameron. The fragment is made from a hardened resin with painted detailing to imitate burnt erosion, & was extracted from the Set filmed at the decommissioned Acton Lane Power Station in London. The Alien Hive became charred in the memorable scenes of the film which saw Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) enter it to rescue Newt (Carrie Henn) & destroy the eggs using a flamethrower. This fragment comes beautifully mounted inside a display (18x22”) which incorporates a photographic montage of Ripley & Newt in the nest.
