A stunt sword used in the 2008 horror thriller: Doomsday. This old fashioned style weapon would have been used by the band of people calling themselves 'Knights' as this is a much more 'uniformed' piece, compared to the 'grab what you can and fashion a weapon from it' style that the plague survivors tend to employ.

The sword is made of hardened rubber, thus keeping it safer for the actors to use on set and has been painted to resemble dirtied metal. There is a 'swirled' gold effect pattern that has been applied on the blade towards the handle. The handle has tan leather attached and strapped around. The blade is actually one piece with the handle and curls right round at one end to form the knuckle guard. This stunt sword remains in good production used condition.
