An SS Titanic gold transfer sheet from the production of James Camerons 1997 historical disaster movie Titanic, once the highest-grossing film of all time.

The unsinkable Titanic sets off for its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York and two people from distinctly different backgrounds (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet) meet on board. They start to fall in love, but disaster is inevitable.

This gold-coloured transfer sheet was made for the production and embellished on company property around the ship, in different colours and various titles. SS Titanic stands for steamship Titanic and the moniker RMS Titanic (Royal Mail Steamer'/ 'Royal Merchant Ship') was also used. SS Titanic is emblazoned most prominently in black upon the lifeboats.

This item is made of plastic backed onto paper and, considering its age, remains in excellent condition.
