A dice game made for the production of the Oliver Stone epic Alexander. Chronicling the life of the legendary king of Macedonia, Alexander (Colin Farrell) takes the throne following his father’s assassination and proceeds to bring the world to heel in military campaigns across Greece, Persia and beyond, becoming one of the most famed generals in history.

This primitive dice game was created for an unknown scene in the production but was ultimately not seen on screen. The set is comprised of three primitive dice, cast in resin and made to look like carved bone, with a section of leather used as a mat. Displaying only minor wear from its use in the production, the piece remains in very good, lightly-distressed condition.
