A piece of ‘Hell Money’ from The X-Files season three episode ‘Hell Money’.This is a prop ten thousand dollar ‘Hell Money’ bill used in Season 3 Episode 19 of the hit American TV Series ‘The X Files’. The 1996 episode was titled ‘Hell Money’ which saw Mulder and Scully investigate a murder in SAN Francisco’s Chinatown involving masked intruders & Chinese Rituals. Mulder finds a scrap of burned bill at the scene of the murder, which a colleague identifies as “Hell Money”, a symbolic offering to deceased spirits. Bills of this kind were created by the production specifically for use in this episode. The prop comes beautifully mounted inside a custom display, measuring 16x12 inches, with two corresponding stills & a descriptive plaque.
